Where do I start.. I didn't think I would be writing this but the time has come to draw GROW to an end. Despite the challenges, I always tried to strive forward with hardwork, transparency and good intentions for the community.
It's so sad to have to write this as I put my heart and soul into this project along with the late nights, early mornings and full weekends of work which no one will ever see. But a part of being a dev/founder is knowing when to read the writing on the wall to call it a day and that day has finally come for GROW. At least for now.
A project is only as strong as its community and unfortunately that has fizzled out for GROW along with the userbase.
I know a lot of people have their own opinions on me but despite everything, I truly did try my best to make everyone win and a game they could enjoy.
But the harsh reality I have come to realise is for there to be winners in this space, there has to be losers so not everyone can win.
The stress of trying to ensure everyone can win has broken me mentally and physically finally getting the better of me, not to mention the death threats and abuse from those that have unfortunately lost to other players. I cannot take it anymore.
I would like to thank those that supported me and those that believed in me. I wish you all truly the very best in life and that god blesses you. It is time for me to take a break, take time with the ones I love and look after myself.
Maybe someday GROW will return but for now it's farewell.
